Los Angeles Rams 2022 NFL Draft grade: A+

104. Logan Bruss, OL, Wisconsin
142. Decobie Durant, CB, South Carolina State
164. Kyren Williams, RB, Notre Dame
211. Quentin Lake, S, UCLA
212. Derion Kendrick, CB, Georgia
235. Daniel Hardy, EDGE, Montana State
253. Russ Yeast, S, Kansas State
261. AJ Arcuri, OT, Michigan State

On the surface, is there really anything special about this draft class for the Los Angeles Rams?

No, it isn’t.

Top pick Logan Bruss must have been a real thrill for every Rams fan waiting through the 103 selections for their team to finally make a pick.

That selection was followed up by Decobie Durant, who is a small, speedy cornerback from a small school.

Kyren Williams is an intriguing pickup at the running back position with three-down capabilities.

On Day 3, the Rams went after more guys that most people putting together mock draft scenarios had never heard of, except for Derion Kendrick, who had a horrendous pre-draft workout.

On the surface, there’s very little to “love” about this Rams draft class, but they get an A+.

Why?

Because the Rams spent their top picks in this draft on quarterback Matthew Stafford and Von Miller, who helped deliver them a Super Bowl this past season.

Of course, it’s easy to look at draft selections and be underwhelmed, but the Rams rightfully put themselves up in a luxury mansion for the weekend after investing their draft picks the way they should be — in the most impactful players possible.
