Bradley Chubb could be an under-the-radar trade candidate for a team this offseason. Which three teams should consider trading for his services?

The Denver Broncos’ offseason is highlighted by the addition of Russell Wilson, but they made a few other additions that have put an unfortunate spotlight on Bradley Chubb.

They signed Randy Gregory and drafted Nik Bonitto to beef up along the defensive edge, and are in the process of moving Baron Browning to an edge player full time.

All of that could mean that Bradley Chubb could be had for the right price.  Couple this with Denver’s lack of 2023 draft capital, and you have an interesting situation to monitor.

I think it’s becoming more and more likely that Bradley Chubb is indeed going to be traded, and I think he’ll have a few suitors who could also give him a contract extension he surely wants.

As a Broncos fan, I hope Chubb ultimately stays on the team, has an All-Pro season, and is rewarded appropriately, but I can’t help but think how increasingly likely it is that the Denver Broncos entertain trade offers for the player.

There are three teams that I think could be the best fit to trade for Bradley Chubb this offseason.  Which three teams should make the deal?

Three NFL teams that should trade for Bradley Chubb

1. Jacksonville Jaguars

They had a massive fall from their 2017 AFC Championship game season.  The roster is largely totally different, and they are officially in year two of the Trevor Lawrence era.

They were active in free agency as always, so we know they aren’t afraid to make additions.

On one side of their defense is Josh Allen, the talented pass rusher formerly of Kentucky.  He’s got 20.5 sacks and 48 QB hits through four seasons, and the Jaguars are probably wanting to extend him.

However, K’Lavon Chaisson, their 2020 first-round pick, has turned out to be virtually invisible through his two seasons.

The Jaguars probably want a bit more coming off the edge opposite Josh Allen, so Bradley Chubb could be that player who helps the Jaguar front seven take a leap into being relevant.  Chubb was born in Georgia, so a new home in Jacksonville could bring him much closer to his hometown.

The Jaguars are also not paying a ton of players big money, so an extension from the Jaguars seems like something they could adequately manage.

In this scenario, Denver could acquire a couple of mid-round picks that the Jaguars have in 2023.  This would give Denver more 2023 draft capital, which they need, and the Jaguars would get a competent, young pass rusher opposite Allen.
