3 Cleveland Browns who could be cut before Week 1

Cleveland Browns potential cut No. 2: Anthony Schwartz, WR
This one might be the biggest surprise because Anthony Schwartz was added just one season ago — and was a third-round pick. Where Schwartz really stood out was his insane speed as he was simply a track star who happened to play football.
As a rookie, he had three receptions for 69 yards in his first game, which had expectations through the roof. Then, it was radio silence.
It took until Week 6 for Schwartz to catch another pass and he had just seven receptions for 66 yards the remainder of the season.
Having said that, there was an expectation that he would take time to develop. The Browns didn’t take him thinking he would be a Pro Bowler in year one. But they did likely expect to see a little more in his rookie campaign.
Going forward, Schwartz is going to have a tough time making the roster. Cleveland has Amari Cooper, Donovan Peoples-Jones, Jakeem Grant, and David Bell — who are all locks to make the team. That means Schwartz will have to prove he’s worth sticking around as the No. 5 guy, and that could be hard if undrafted rookie Isaiah Weston continues to show he belongs.
In the end, Schwartz has the athleticism to make it, but the Browns have added a lot of competition at the position which makes his future more cloudy.
