The NFL regular season is approaching us and with that comes the preseason. The Hall of Fame Game was an appetizer to what should be some interesting games this year.
With the amount of movement with coaches and quarterbacks, there should be plenty to check up on before the records matter.

NFL preseason matchup no. 5: Mike McDaniel vs 2022 Darkhorse
Week 3 of the preseason became the last week of the preseason starting in 2021. There is an open week between these games and the NFL regular season.
It allows teams to play whoever they want without having to worry about minor issues and fatigue affecting them the next week. The preseason allows for teams to practice their plays against teams that do not know what to expect and see how they work.
This will be seen when Miami visits Philadelphia in Week 3 of the preseason.
Mike McDaniel comes over to the Miami Dolphins as the new Head Coach after previously working under Kyle Shanahan in San Francisco.
We have ideas of what to expect but could add more of his twists with Miami being his team. This will be a great game to see what the McDaniel offense will look like in 2022.
The Eagles are coming off a wildcard loss to the Buccaneers. They appear to be ready to return to the postseason and be a more feared opponent. Their run game and defense seem to be a strength heading into the season and it will be interesting to see how this team looks in the preseason.
If they answer some questions surrounding important positions like QB, they could be well on their way to making some shocking noise in 2022. This is a great time to catch a 2022 darkhorse contender before everyone jumps on them after the first month of the season.
