As final NFL roster cuts loom with just one preseason game left for all 32 teams, a number of notable veterans are still looking for where they will play football this coming year. As a matter of fact, the top available NFL free agents list seems to include a lot more notable names than you normally see at this time of year.

With the preseason about to come to a close, teams have been able to go through their rosters extensively and find out where they might need some veteran help going into the 2022 season. Some of these notable NFL free agents won’t remain on the open market for long, but where are they going to land?

Let’s take a look through 15 of the best and most notable NFL free agents that are still available for teams to sign and where they might fit on a roster in 2022, what landing spots could make some sense.

Where will the top available NFL Free Agents sign?

Odell Beckham Jr., WR: Buffalo Bills

Although Odell Beckham Jr. is not going to be able to help a team until roughly the middle of the 2022 NFL season, that doesn’t mean teams should avoid signing him until that point. Beckham is a proven commodity. He jumped into the Rams’ offense in the middle of the 2021 campaign and helped them win a Super Bowl, scoring the first touchdown of the game.

Beckham is only 29 years old and he’s been one of the biggest stars in the NFL since he got drafted out of LSU. Unfortunately, injuries have prevented him from being an even bigger star than he could have been.

Von Miller helped recruit Beckham to the Rams last year and he’s on the recruiting trail again in 2022, trying to get him to come and join the Buffalo Bills. The Bills have a star-studded offense but do they have room for another receiver? Why not?

Trey Flowers, DE: Miami Dolphins

This is a little bit of cheating because Trey Flowers is visiting the Dolphins as of the day this post is being made. Regardless, it’s hard to believe Flowers is still sitting in free agency at this point. Even though he wasn’t able to live up to his lofty contract with the Detroit Lions, he’s only 29 and is capable of making an impact on a defensive front seven.
