Will Fuller, WR: Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys are going to have to do something at the wide receiver position at some point. Actually, I’m surprised they haven’t gone after Will Fuller up to this point. The Cowboys signed James Washington in the 2022 offseason to bring a vertical element to the offense. Fuller, when healthy, is much better at doing exactly that.

With Amari Cooper gone, Cedrick Wilson gone, and Michael Gallup on the mend, the Cowboys need additional wide receiver depth and they really should consider taking a calculated risk like this. It seems rather on-brand for the Cowboys to take a shot on a player like Will Fuller and like I said, I’m surprised they haven’t already done it.

This could be a perfect/ideal match for both parties involved.

Landon Collins, S/LB: Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers have struggled to find answers at the off-ball linebacker position in the 2022 offseason. They’ve also made it something of a habit to bring in these hybrid types of guys or former high picks or even former big-money trade acquisitions to try and fill the void.

Why not give Landon Collins the next shot?

Although they didn’t cross paths at Alabama, Collins would be joining another former Crimson Tide star defensive player — Minkah Fitzpatrick — in that Pittsburgh defense and he’d have Brian Flores coaching him up at the linebacker spot. If the Steelers are really not pleased with what Devin Bush has shown this offseason, perhaps taking a shot on Collins isn’t the worst idea.
