GAME #1- DALLAS COWBOYS @ NEW YORK GIANTS (MNF)

This Monday Night Football game would not have made the list if it was not for the Cowboys interim quarterback Cooper Rush and the Dallas defense taking a surprising win over the Bengals this weekend. But here we are, the Cowboys are 1-1, and even more impressive; the New York Giants are 2-0.

Brian Daboll appears to be THE MAN in New York and his players are visibly excited on and off the field to actually be a competitive unit for the first time in a long time. The Giants actually have not been 0-2 since 2016

The new blood Daboll has pumped into the building may not be curing all of the Daniel Jones ailments (errant throws, issues holding onto the ball) but running back Saquon Barkley appears to have returned to his peak abilities and is stampeding all over the field. It should be noted that the Giants have done this well without their first pick in the draft, defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux. That’s scary.

The Cowboys’ season was ruled by the media to be over and done as soon as Dak Prescott got injured but Cooper Rush has turned the headlines (with some help from defensive end Micah Parsons) and they appear to still be in the running in the NFC East. The Cowboys-Giants rivalry is one for the ages and this Monday Night brawl hopefully will not disappoint.

PREDICTION: Giants 24 Cowboys 17
