Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. Kentucky. Will Levis. 4. player. 87

4. Carolina Panthers: Will Levis, QB, Kentucky

Will Levis looks the part of an NFL quarterback and because of that, he’s going to get drafted much higher than he should. He has a lot of the tools but he’s got some work to do in order to be a success at the next level.

Even though there are some concerns, the Carolina Panthers have spent this season trying to figure out who to use between Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, and P.J. Walker. Even if Levis isn’t great, he’s sure to be an upgrade for them.

Pick Analysis. WR. Quentin Johnston. 5. player. Scouting Report. TCU. 52

5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Quentin Johnston, WR, TCU

Trevor Lawrence has been infinitely better in 2022 than he was as a rookie in 2021. Of course, getting away from Urban Meyer had a lot to do with that but some credit goes to Doug Pederson as well.

A former Super Bowl-winning head coach for the Eagles, Pederson knows how to utilize his quarterbacks. He’s showing this again with Lawrence but the Jags need to improve their weapons at wideout.

That’s why they go for Quentin Johnson from TCU at No. 5. This is very early for Johnston but the 6-foot-4, 212-pounder is a great fit to play alongside Christian Kirk. Putting Kirk in the slot with Johnston on the outside would be a major problem for defenses to deal with.
