2. Taylor Lewan – New England Patriots

Taylor Lewan, a three-time Pro Bowl tackle also previously from the Tennessee Titans, had indicated he’d consider retirement this offseason after a couple of injury-riddled seasons.  However, when healthy, he is one of the best left tackles in the NFL, and I think the Patriots should take a chance on him.

They don’t have a clear plan at left tackle, and their OL room has potential left tackles in Calvin Anderson, Riley Reiff, and Trent Brown.  Really, nothing inspiring.  Lewan could put the finishing touches on what has usually always been a great Patriots’ OL.

3. Dalton Risner – Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams have one of the most talent-deficient rosters in the entire NFL, and Risner has at times, shown the ability to be serviceable.  He was taken in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos and was a four-year starter for them, but was replaced by Ben Powers in free agency by Denver.

Risner is a solid run blocker but does leave much to be desired in pass protection.  Overall, though, he’s better than what the Rams currently have on the interior and I don’t see a reason why they shouldn’t sign him.  At best, he can be a slightly above-average guard, and the Rams’ OL last year was nothing short of a disaster.
