It’s the most wonderful time of the year for football fans, a time when your expectations for your favorite teams are high and reality hasn’t hit you yet. The teams in the NFC East are no different and their fans have been clamoring for this season to get underway. Dallas Cowboys fans are looking forward to seeing what their new offense will look like, New York Giants fans are hoping their team can continue to build on the unexpected success of last season. Philadelphia Eagles fans are hoping their team can get back to the Super Bowl again, and the Washington Commanders are hoping that their new quarterback and offensive coordinator will lead this offense into a new era.

Let’s start with the Cowboys.

Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants

Last season the Dallas Cowboys had one of the best defensive fronts in the entire NFL and all they’ve done this season is add more talent in order to fortify an already dominant group. But that’s not the only thing they did to improve this defense, they also went out and traded for Stephon Gilmore in order to shore up that cornerback spot opposite star cornerback Trevon Diggs. Put those together and you have the makings of a defense with the ability to lock down anyone and create pressure on quarterbacks, and that is the plan for the Giants on Sunday night.

Prediction: Cowboys win
