Dallas Cowboys @ Green Bay Packers, 8:20 PM ET

The Sunday Night Football showdown in Week 6 features two teams that have definitely gone through some challenges this year. The Dallas Cowboys head to Lambeau to face the Packers, a team that is suddenly 3-2 and have begun to dig themselves out of this mini-hole they found themselves in.

The Cowboys are dealing with almost the exact same issues this year as they have in 2025 - the defense just flat-out stinks.

First-year defensive coordinator Christian Parker seems to be in way over his head, and that might be putting it lightly. And, because of course, the offense has been awesome. The Packers, on the other hand, have dealt with a series of brutal injuries and may now need to rely on Jordan Love more than ever.

Fortunately for Green Bay, the Packers get this game at home, and with how atrocious Dallas' defense has been, this game should tilt to the Packers favor. The Cowboys will be able to put up some points, though, and given how flawed both teams are right now, this could end up being a shootout favoring the home team.

Packers win.

Prediction: Packers win 33-27

Monday, October 19th

Washington Commanders @ San Francisco 49ers, 8:15 PM ET

This could get out of hand. With the way things ended for the Washington Commanders in Week 5, you almost get the sense that an ugly loss in Week 6 could really begin to prompt the front office to make some coaching changes.

And outside of a major upset, I don't see any sort of path for the Commanders to beat the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers come into this game as one of three remaining unbeaten teams in the NFL. Brock Purdy is playing like an MVP, and the defense has been outstanding.

Washington can't really do much of anything right, and it's just baffling that they were able to beat the Seattle Seahawks a couple of weeks ago.

The 49ers get this game at home and outmatch the Commanders on both sides of the ball, but the coaching advantage here could not be more in the 49ers' favor. It should end up being a double-digit victory for the 49ers and a flawless 6-0 record.

Purdy likely has another prolific passing game, and the defense is able to hold the Commanders to just one touchdown.

Prediction: 49ers win 28-13
