It's hard to believe that Week 7 of the 2026 NFL Season is already approaching, but that's the beauty of the NFL - we wait months for the offseason to go by, and the season itself seems to race through. It's not long before the playoff races in both conferences begin to amp up, too.
There are some neat matchups here in Week 7, and we also are seeing bye weeks pop up as well. Four teams will embark on the bye this week, meaning 28 clubs are in action as October rolls on.
Let's dive into our latest picks and score predictions for what promises to be an exciting Week 7.
2026 NFL Season, Week 7: Picks and score predictions as October rolls on
Thursday, October 22nd
New England Patriots @ Chicago Bears, 8:15 PM ET
Could this end up being a Super Bowl preview? With how much attention the Chicago Bears have gotten this year, coupled with the New England Patriots having just made the Super Bowl, there is a chance we could see these two teams meet in February.
And honestly, both squads feel very evenly-matched, and if this game was home fort Patriots, I'd likely pick them to win. Both teams sport very encouraging third-year quarterbacks, as both Caleb Williams and Drake Maye are trending to sign monster contract extensions this coming offseason.
Both teams can have very explosive offenses as well, and even the defenses have played well this year. This honestly could go either way, and it's one of those coin-flip games, but with this game being in Chicago, I really believe that is just enough for the Bears to squeak by in a game that likely features both Maye and Williams throwing multiple touchdown passes each.
The Bears win on a late field goal.
