3. Dallas Cowboys
Give me the Dallas Cowboys to win the NFC East in the 2026 season. Dallas revamped the defensive side of the ball and now owns the most complete roster in the division. Dak Prescott is also, by far, the best and most prolific passer the division as well. Not only that, but the Cowboys also boast a high-end running game, the best wide receiver duo in the league, and an offense, overall, that ranked inside the top-10 in points scored last year.
I struggle to see why the Cowboys can't win the NFC East, as they were in the thick of the race for a short time last year, and that was with the worst defense in the sport. The unit playing just average is going to be plenty for this team to win, let's say, 11 games and earn the top spot in the NFC East for 2026.
2. Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions won the division two years in a row in the 2023 and 2024 seasons, winning 27 regular season games during that time. While the defense has not been able to stay healthy, there is always a chance that those injuries regress to the mean and we see the Lions enjoying fewer man games lost on that side of the ball.
And with how good this team has been, being just one year removed from a 15-2 season, the battle-tested Lions find a way to climb back to the top of the NFC North and win the division for a third time in four years in our predictions.
1. Los Angeles Rams
The Rams are the best team in football, have a top-3 head coach, the reigning MVP, and a roster loaded from top to bottom. While the pressure has never been greater, Los Angeles has enough sheer talent to overcome that outside pressure and even injuries. They'll grab the top seed in the NFC.
