However, 10 of those 38 occasions have come in the past four seasons. In 2022 it was the Cincinnati Bengals, and a year later the Houston Texans. In 2024, the Baltimore Ravens, Denver Broncos, and Los Angeles Rams all turned the trick. This past season, it was the Carolina Panthers, Chicago Bears, and Texans (0-3) again.

Running back Christian McCaffrey is in his 10th NFL season and became the 29th player this past Sunday to score at least 100 touchdowns. Jerry Rice remains the all-time leaders (208), followed by Emmitt Smith (175) and LaDainian Tomlinson (162). McCaffrey (100) is one of four active players on the list, joining Derrick Henry (131), Davante Adams (119), and Mike Evans (110).

A season ago, Seahawks’ WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba led the NFL with 1,793 receiving yards. He was the first member of the franchise to achieve this feat since Pro Football Hall of Famer Steve Largent turned the trick back in 1985, and he was named the 2025 NFL Offensive Player of the Year. This season, Smith-Njigba has totaled 17 catches for a league-best 277 yards (4 TDs). There’s a long way to go, but Hall of Famer Calvin Johnson was the last player to lead the NFL in receiving yards two straight years (2011-12).

The Indianapolis Colts look to end the league’s longest-current losing streak when they host the Houston Texans on Sunday in a battle of winless teams. Including a playoff clash in 2018, the Colts have more than doubled Houston’s win total in this series via a 33-15-1 edge in this rivalry’s all-time standings. However, recent history certainly favors Houston on Sunday. The Texans have not only won the last five meetings in this AFC South series, but they have prevailed in their last four appearances at Lucas Oil Stadium since ‘22.
