RB Jonathan Taylor to the Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos have not been able to run the ball much at all this year. Sporting one of the worst run games in the NFL, defenses aren't having to break a sweat to stop this offense, as they're essentially daring Denver to run the ball and selling out to stop their passing attack.

J.K. Dobbins' lengthy injury history seems to be catching up to him, and RJ Harvey might not have that RB1 profile that the team needs. Rookie RB Jonah Coleman has been on IR as well. Jonathan Taylor could end up being the grand prize at the deadline as well.

The Indianapolis Colts lost to the Tennessee Titans in Week 6 and are now 2-4 on the season. It really feels like this loss could be what finally gets this team beginning to rebuild and make some changes. Taylor actually does not have any guaranteed money on his contract beyond 2026, and, financially, a trade would be doable for both parties.

He's been one of the best pure runners in the NFL for much of his career and is averaging a healthy 82 rushing yards per game this year. For reference, the Broncos as a team are averaging 84.2 yards per game.

Getting this run game going would be something that opens up the passing offense for the Broncos and finally gets things in a good spot for the offense.

WR Brian Thomas Jr to the San Francisco 49ers

Brian Thomas Jr continues to fall out of favor in Jacksonville. Despite having a ton of talent and shining his rookie year, football looks hard for him right now. You don't really see winning, division-leading teams trading away players, but it's clear that Thomas does not have a future with this team. The San Francisco 49ers have dealt with wide receiver injuries all year and could certainly benefit from someone with the vertical skillset that Thomas possesses.
