We have already learned a lot from Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season, as well as the first few weeks of the college football season, but there is still a lot of football left to be played.
And that means there's still a lot of time for top prospects to emerge, as well as a lot of time for NFL teams to reveal their biggest needs through the way they play.

1. Cleveland Browns: Arch Manning, QB, Texas
In pretty much every other case, this wouldn't even be a question. But given the Manning family history, you have to seriously wonder whether or not Arch Manning is a realistic option for the Cleveland Browns.
Would the Manning family allow Arch to play for Cleveland?
That is maybe a bridge to be crossed when the time comes. For now, Arch still looks like QB1 and the Browns have the worst QB situation in the NFL.
2. Tennessee Titans: Colin Simmons, EDGE, Texas
If the Titans finish this badly yet again in 2026, every part of the operation is going to be called into question. This feels like a bit of a knee-jerk reaction, but Cam Ward has to prove himself as a franchise player again this year.
I toyed with the idea of putting a quarterback in this slot, but it feels too soon to go that route.
The Titans' defensive front is clearly still a work in progress, especially off the edge, and a player like Colin Simmons (or Dylan Stewart) could be huge in 2027.
3. Atlanta Falcons: Jeremiah Smith, WR, Ohio State
If the Falcons are picking this high, the quarterback position is absolutely going to be in focus. But if Arch Manning ends up being the consensus QB1 (not a guarantee, of course), teams will have to seriously answer the question of whether or not they want the 2nd-best QB on their board or Jeremiah Smith.
And with all of the talk of Jeremiah Smith reminding everyone of Julio Jones, wouldn't this one just feel right? It's valid to ask who would be throwing Smith passes in this scenario, but a QB prospect would have to be really good to pass on him here.
4. Miami Dolphins: Dante Moore, QB, Oregon
It hasn't exactly been the greatest start to the 2026 season for Dante Moore, who wanted to return to Oregon this season to continue to hone his craft. Sometimes, you have to make sure you don't let the most recent sample completely diminish the entire body of work.
As this season progresses along, we're hoping to see even more progression out of Moore, who has been considered arguably the QB1 of this class. The Dolphins need a young QB to build around.
