Division Leaders

4. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-2)

Based on how the rest of the AFC South looks, the Jacksonville Jaguars could not only win the division by multiple games, but there is a chance that they're the only team that finishes with a winning record in the division.

The Houston Texans all of a sudden being horrendous on defense is not something that many of us saw coming. Houston is 2-5 on the season and are likely the second-best team in the South, as the Indianapolis Colts are free-falling, and the Tennessee Titans have too many issues to list.

The Jags did just lose DaVon Hamilton and Eric Murray for the rest of the season, so the depth on defense will be tested, but with how good Trevor Lawrence has been for nearly a year now, it's hard to imagine the Jaguars not being a threat in the playoffs.

Winning the division feels like a guarantee, and I don't see how they finish behind the current No. 3 seed, either.

3. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2)

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a below-average, aging QB in Aaron Rodgers, an offense that can't do anything besides run the ball, and a rather low ceiling as a whole. Pittsburgh hasn't really beaten many good teams this year and just don't really scare you.

Still 6-2, the Steelers are likely going to accumulate some losses in the coming weeks, and with how good the Bengals appear to be, sliding into a Wild Card spot doesn't seem unlikely. Sure, the Steelers are winning games and are again trending toward another winning record, but we're once again looking at a team that is very clearly not a contending squad.

The Steelers would actually host the Bengals in the Wild Card Round if the current standings held. I would expect a slide from the No. 3-seeded Steelers.
