2. Kansas City Chiefs (4-0)
The Kansas City Chiefs were already on their bye in Week 5, so they'll head into Week 6 all rested up and ready for the big stretch of the season. The big thing with the Chiefs this year has been how good Kenneth Walker III has been.
He's gotten a huge workload thus far and is making the most of it. The one thing that does concern me on offense is them relying on Walker for this many touches per game - he has never been a bell-cow running back before, so you naturally worry about a drop-off in performance.
The Chiefs also don't have great pass-catching weapons, so if they do end up seeing Walker not produce quite as much as the season goes on, I am not sure they'll have a clear area on offense where they can threaten you.
With that being said, Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid both seem to still be at the peak of their powers, so we might again look foolish for doubting this team.
1. San Francisco 49ers (5-0)
The San Francisco 49ers being 5-0 despite all the injuries they have dealt with feels like a miracle. Both sides of the ball are working for Kyle Shanahan's team, as QB Brock Purdy might currently be the MVP of the league through five weeks.
Going into Seattle and getting that huge divisional win is nothing short of massive, as the 49ers were also able to beat the Los Angeles Rams back in Week 1. This team dealt with a ton of injuries last year and kind of limped into the playoffs at 12-5, finishing third in the NFC West.
And while it is still early, the Niners being 5-0 and already having wins over Seattle and Los Angeles does make it hard to imagine them not winning the division this year. Pound for pound, they are the best team in the NFL at the moment.
