3. Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
Bo Nix is a QB that people most definitely cannot agree on. Some think he's a borderline top-10 player at the position who is ready to take the league by storm, but others seem to think he's in that top-18 range and is being 'carried' by the defense more than his play on the field.
What is a pretty sure-fire fact, though, is that the Denver Broncos are in the Super Bowl in 2025 if Nix doesn't break is ankle, and with how atrocious the offense looked in that AFC Championship Game, Nix's importance should have been magnified at the time.
Nix led the NFL in game-winning drives and helped dig the Broncos out of countless messes. Furthermore, according to Pro Football Reference, the Broncos had the second-most drops in the NFL last year with 43. Only the Jacksonville Jaguars had more.
Simply put, Nix has had to deal with a lot, yet he's helped lead the Broncos on the cusp of being a Super Bowl team.
2. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
Through 10 years in the NFL, Dak Prescott has averaged a 10-7 record across a full 17-game season and had an insane year in 2025, leading the league in passing completions while throwing for 4,552 yards and 30 touchdowns.
Prescott does get a lot of hate because he is the Dallas Cowboys starting QB, but he's finished with a winning record in six of his 10 seasons, has the 8th-best passer rating all-time, and has averaged 30 touchdowns per 17-game season.
He's also one of the best QBs pre-snap in this league and is really every bit of what you want a franchise QB to be.
1. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
Jared Goff and Prescott are similar, but Goff is a bit more of a prolific passer. He also owns a 10-7 average record across a 17-game season. He's finished with a winning record four years in row, has eight career winning seasons in 10 years, and leads the NFL in passing touchdowns since the 2022 NFL season
Over the last four years with the Detroit Lions, Goff has thrown for no fewer than 29 touchdowns and has eclipsed the 4,400-yard mark in each year during that stretch. Goff does the most important things that a franchise QB needs to do quite well.
Sure, he's not a dual-threat player, which are the QBs who tend to dominate headlines, but there's also something to be said about his being able to sustain this high-end passing level for 10 years now.
