6. Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
At times during the 2025 season, Bo Nix carried the team on his back. Nix led the NFL with seven game-winning drives, and while your first reaction to that would be that the offense wasn't good and the team trailed a lot, Nix also had to deal with a ton of drops last year.
The Denver Broncos had 43 drops in 2025, which ranked as the second-most in the NFL, only trailing the Jacsonville Jaguars. The team felt the need to add another weapon to try and get the pass-catchers in a better state overall, which is why the Jaylen Waddle trade happened.
Nix also out-dueled Josh Allen in the playoffs and was very likely leading the Broncos to the Super Bowl last year had he not broken his ankle. Sure, the passing production on paper might not be where you'd like it, personally, but there is so much more to that - more context is needed in Nix's instance, as it's not just as black and white as the offense being inefficient.
5. Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars
Over the final six games of the 2025 season, there may not have been a more efficient QB in the NFL than Trevor Lawrence, who did end the year as an MVP candidate. Lawrence and head coach Liam Coen really began to see things come together on offense for the Jags in the 2025 season.
Naturally, it's reasonable to expect that the 2026 season could be a continuation of how 2025 ended. If that is the case, Lawrence would likely win the MVP award and would absolutely be viewed as one of the five best QBs in the sport.
He does have all the tools, and it seems like we've been waiting for him to finally put it all together consistently.
