The NFC North featured all four teams with a winning record during the 2025 NFL Season, and based on how things stand right now, that feels possible as the 2026 regular season approaches. Actual football is back in less than a week, so now is a perfect time to take a final look at divisions across the league.
The North could realistically be the first division in the seven-team playoff era where all four teams make it to the postseason. That would be possible if the second, third, and fourth-place teams all occupied the three available Wild Card slots.

4. Minnesota Vikings
The main thing that went on with the Minnesota Vikings this offseason was adding quarterback Kyler Murray in free agency, and him 'winning' the QB competition. It honestly never felt like a competition to begin with, but for talking point purposes, that's how it was billed.
Murray is a good QB who has at least been average for much of his career, and seeing as the Vikings had bottom-5 QB play last year, there is reason to believe that Minnesota could finish better than their 9-8 record from last year.
With that said, Murray is comfortably the worst QB in the division right now, and the Vikings not being able to field a stable QB room is something that could eventually derail a season. For the time being, Minnesota is last in our power rankings.
3. Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers dealt with some notable injuries near the end of the 2025 season, which ended up seeing them sputter to the finish line, winning just nine games. The Packers then lost in the Wild Card Round thanks to a Chicago Bears comeback victory.
The Packers have been stuck in this 'good, not great' tier for the entire Jordan Love era thus far, and that mantra even applies to the roster as well, as there are a lot of capable players, but there aren't a lot of truly elite, game-changing players, and the best one is going to miss a chunk of the season, as Micah Parsons is close to returning from his torn ACL, but not quite back yet.
