We still have about five more months until Super Bowl LXI in February, but that won't stop us from talking about it now. With the bulk of Week 2 here, that gives us more reason to look into which teams could represent both conferences in the Super Bowl.
Last year, Super Bowl LX brought us a very unexpected matchup, as both Seattle and New England totally missed the playoffs the prior year, so that does go to show you just how much parity is present in the NFL right now, and with the league feeling wide open at the moment, we could end up seeing quite the insane Super Bowl matchup.
Let's predict (and rank) the most likely Super Bowl LXI matchup with Week 2 approaching. We're definitely going out on a limb with some of these games, but each team that appears in this ranking has at least one clear Super Bowl quality about them.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Chicago Bears
Coming into Week 2, the Jacksonville Jaguars have won nine regular season games dating back to the 2025 campaign, and I struggle to see why this team would not be for real. The one thing you can say is that the roster talent isn't overwhelming, as this current regime is absolutely still a year ahead, but with a perhaps elite quarterback in Trevor Lawrence and an offensive genius at head coach in Liam Coen, there might be enough there for the Jaguars.
The Chicago Bears are going to continue being a media darling as long as Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson keep putting up points, so the 'vibes' part of this equation is settled. The defense is a concern, but if the offense is as good as some have made it out to be, the Bears won't need a big lift from Dennis Allen's unit.
4. Baltimore Ravens vs. Los Angeles Rams
The Baltimore Ravens blew out the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1 and do have most of the Super Bowl boxes checked, as it really just comes down to overall roster health and if Lamar Jackson can show up for a full playoffs, which is something he's not yet been able to do.
The Los Angeles Rams, on the other hand, got blown out in Week 1, and that blowout loss was a perfect example of how misleading Week 1 can be sometimes. The Rams are, unquestionably, the most talented team in the NFL and also have the reigning MVP.
This team, with Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay leading the charge, won the Super Bowl back in 2021, and from top to bottom this year, the Super Bowl makeup is present.
