With Week 2 about in the books, we can turn our attention to Week 3 and slowly close out the first month of the 2026 NFL Season. The NFL is a wild beast sometimes, as the shocking results thus far are unexpected, but not at the same time.

In the coming weeks, we'll begin to see the league's best and worst teams really begin to separate themselves from the rest of the bunch. We'll also likely see an 'irrelevant middle' tier of teams emerge as well, which is honestly no man's land.

But for now, we're focusing on the latest NFL Power Rankings with Week 2 coming to an end. Let's see how the hierarchy looks with Week 3 on the horizon.

Updated NFL Power Rankings as Week 2 comes to an end

Note: The Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Giants, and Los Angeles Rams' sections will be updated following the completion of their primetime games

32. Atlanta Falcons (0-2)

What do you even say at this point? The Atlanta Falcons don't feel like a legitimate NFL team and are going to struggle each and every week this year, and I am not sure it matters a ton who is under center. With that said, Cooper Rush has been horrific and should probably not continue to hold that QB1 role for much longer.

31. Miami Dolphins (0-2)

Similar to the Falcons, the Miami Dolphins don't feel like an NFL team, and I would not be shocked if both squads continued to be winless for the foreseeable future. This is definitely a rebuilding year for the Dolphins, but that doesn't make it any less awful to experience.

The Dolphins come in at No. 31 in our power rankings, as they're honestly lucky the Falcons exist at the moment. These two teams feel, comfortably, like the worst in the sport.
