4. Seattle Seahawks (Last week: 3)
The Seattle Seahawks come in at No. 4 in our power rankings, and them dropping one spot really has nothing to do with their performance in Week 2, as they blewout the Arizona Cardinals, but with other teams surging, the Seahawks just happen to slide into the fourth spot.
Backup QB Drew Lock has been rather outstanding for Seattle, and I am not sure it's insane to suggest that the team should take their time with Sam Darnold until he's fully healthy, as Lock has been playing some great football.
From top to bottom, this is one of the best teams in the league. The coaching staff is fantastic, and what does separate this team from most is the depth along the defensive line, which was a driving force in their Super Bowl victory in 2025.
For now, the Seahawks have not done anything to remove them from the Super Bowl contender tier. They'll again likely win a ton of games and are good enough to capture the NFC West title again.
3. Cincinnati Bengals (Last week: 7)
The Cincinnati Bengals move up four spots in our power rankings from last week. They were able to defeat Houston in their house, which is no easy feat. The defense has looked pretty darn good, and the offense has done what we all know that unit can do. All of a sudden, the Bengals feel like one of the most complete teams in the sport.
Joe Burrow's health may actually end up being the biggest factor here, as the defense is honestly very talented and almost at a point where we'd be shocked if that unit wasn't at least average ths year. Cincy has made two deep playoff runs in the Burrow era, coming in 2021 and 2022.
They have not made the playoffs since then, but if they get in this year, you can't help but wonder how far they'll go.
