6. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars are now 4-2 on the season, having lost to the Houston Texans in Week 6, but this is still one of the best teams in football right now. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence has sustained this high level of play since the final six weeks of 2025, and the Jaguars just simply keep winning games and getting top play from their 2025 MVP candidate.

Still in the driver's seat to win the AFC South this year, the Jaguars have typically gotten really encouraging play from both sides of the ball most weeks, and you really struggle to see what this team is missing at the moment.

5. Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos being 4-2 with as bad an offense as we've seen is honestly more indicative of how good they can be later in the season if that side of the ball gets figured out. For whatever reason, QB Bo Nix just hasn't played well this year, but the Broncos have also found offensive success in the Nix era, so this honestly might be an outlier period and a simple slump for the third-year player.

Denver's schedule does soften up the rest of the season, and it's rather inarguable that this team plays in the Super Bowl in 2025 if Nix doesn't break this ankle. I understand that the way Nix has played this year has turned a ton of people off, but it might not be as simple as 'the quarterback is bad' like some want to believe.

4. Minnesota Vikings

With a suffocating defense and an offense likely finding its groove with more Kyler Murray starts, the Minnesota Vikings could easily be a huge Super Bowl threat when the playoffs roll around. Defensive coordinator Brian Flores has his unit playing aggressive, and it might simply be a matter of time before Murray and this offense begins to click.

When it's all said and done, the 5-0 Vikings might not even be at their peak, yet!
