4. Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears were absolutely fantastic on Thursday night against the New England Patriots. The Patriots had caught a little bit of fire over the last three games, and Chicago doused the flame significantly.

If it weren’t for an egregious series of missed tackles before halftime, you might even say the Bears’ defense kind of put the clamps on this Patriots team. But let’s be real…We know it’s not exactly about the defense with these Bears.

This is a team whose offense continues to be exactly what everyone hoped it could be before the season, especially when Caleb Williams is out there. For whatever reason, Williams was flamed for executing a lot of quick game in the Bears’ win over the Falcons, so Williams went into his bag against New England and was ripping it to all levels of the field.

This Bears team is a Super Bowl contender, there’s no question about it.

3. Green Bay Packers

The Packers got off to an extremely disappointing 1-2 start this season, but they’ve quickly ripped off three-straight victories, taking care of business against a couple of teams playing with backup QBs before their best defensive performance so far this season against Dallas on Sunday night.

The Packers look like a much better and more well-rounded group than what we saw earlier in the season, and the primary reason why they are all the way up at 3rd on this list is the play of Jordan Love lately. Love looks like an MVP candidate, and with the way both Matthew Golden and Christian Watson are making plays?

This team is dangerous, and while there are no guarantees considering the time he’s missed, they are now getting Josh Jacobs back in the fold.

Sometime soon, Micah Parsons will also be back.

2. Minnesota Vikings

I said earlier that the Seattle Seahawks have the best defense in the NFL, but they might actually share that distinction with the Minnesota Vikings.

And Vikings fans would probably argue that their team stands alone in this regard. Brian Flores is the most aggressive defensive coordinator in the league, and his players are all executing his plan to perfection.

Meanwhile, the offense is slowly starting to get things figured out with Kyler Murray at the helm. Murray has had his two best games in a row as a Viking leading up to Week 7, where they play a vulnerable Indianapolis Colts team.

The best might be yet to come for the Vikings, who still haven’t lost a game.

1. San Francisco 49ers

Speaking of not yet losing any games, the San Francisco 49ers continue to look like the most well-oiled machine in the NFL. But they’re certainly not without flaws.

We saw them nearly crumble down the stretch against the Washington Commanders, where the 49ers’ offense had three-straight three-and-outs in the 4th quarter as the Commanders climbed right back into the game.

With that said, we’re poking holes in an undefeated operation right now. The 49ers have faced some of the best teams in the league, and they’ve proven they can win games different types of ways.
