2. Dan Quinn, Washington Commanders (1-4-1)
The Washington Commanders, since the start of the 2025 season, are 6-16-1. After a 5-12 season in 2025, the Commanders did make some coaching changes, but not much has changed. Third-year head coach Dan Quinn is very clearly losing his grip on this team, and after a 2024 breakout season that saw the team come within a game of the Super Bowl, the Commanders are dangerously close to having to rebuild this operation again.
Between an oft-injured QB, a shaky roster, and Quinn perhaps not necessarily being all that, the Commanders are in a funk and may not have much of a path this year, even being in the weak NFC East. It's really something to see how far this franchise has fallen.
To preserve Jayden Daniels' younger years, and to maximize that potential window, Quinn being on the hot seat is easy to see. In fact, I would not be shocked if another loss has Quinn packing his bags. Even during his days as head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, there wasn't a ton of consistency year over year. Quinn's seat has to be red hot at the moment.
1. Jim Harbaugh, Los Angeles Chargers (0-6)
Jim Harbaugh went 11-6 in each of his first two seasons as head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, but with the Chargers being the lone winless team in football right now, it's only fitting that he tops our power rankings list.
The Chargers just do not do anything well besides lose, and between the poor coaching fit, injured players, and overrated roster, the Chargers are a mess wherever you look. Harbaugh has found head coaching success across his entire career at all levels, but the franchise just bottomed-out this year and also did not progress much in his second season on the job.
At this point, there isn't much for Harbaugh to hang his hat on as the Chargers head coach, especially if he has a large say in the personnel. He tops our power rankings.
