The Green Bay Packers, unsurprisingly, beat the Carolina Panthers at home on Thursday Night Football and improved to 5-3 with the win, making the loaded NFC North even less certain as we approach the middle of the season.

Something else very obvious with this season is just how wide open it feels, as even the teams we look at as being the best have some notable flaws. This could end up making for an ultra-competitive playoff push and one of the more entertaining playoffs in recent league history.

Of the seven teams that have five wins, it's clear not all are created equal, so let's rank them here.

Ranking all seven NFL teams with five wins following the Green Bay Packers' TNF win

7. Pittsburgh Steelers, 5-2

The Pittsburgh Steelers are No. 7 in out power rankings. I guess the defense playing well this year is a win, but the Steelers don't strike you as a contending team much of anywhere. The roster itself is average, and the team doesn't have much at quarterback anymore with Aaron Rodgers.

While the Steelers could again win 9 or 10 games, as they do most every year in recent memory, there is no path for this team to make the playoffs. Some of their best players are aging, and you don't see anything consistently great emerging with this squad.

6. Cleveland Browns, 5-2

The Cleveland Browns are a fun team but are also probably in a similar tier to the Steelers. The offense is especially flawed, as Deshaun Watson has been serviceable this year, but he's taking way too many sacks.

The defense has been stingy, though, which is still a win. The Browns do have the potential to get into the playoffs as a Wild Card, but that's all the team will accomplish this year - both Pittsburgh and Cleveland are solid teams, but nothing special.
