17. Las Vegas Raiders - Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
The Las Vegas Raiders need a good bit of personnel help on defense, but I think that unit is going to be in great hands if Antonio Pierce is named the permanent head coach. I think they should look to prioritize the offensive side of the ball in free agency. They could use a QB, but might opt to ride with Aidan O'Connell or even another bridge QB not named Jimmy Garoppolo. At the 17th selection, they take Amarius Mims, a RT prospect from Georgia.
This would potentially give them a very strong tackle duo in Kolton Miller and Amarius Mims, something that could greatly aid in them potentially wanting to develop a QB.
18. Cincinnati Bengals - Brian Thomas Jr, WR, LSU
Another first-round wide receiver from LSU, anyone? The Cincinnati Bengals took former LSU wide receiver in the first-round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and that ended up being a very good selection. While the Bengals would love to retain Tee Higgins, I think something that could make a ton of sense for them is a tag-and-trade scenario with Higgins.
Higgins goes somewhere he can be a true WR1 and not have to necessarily split those catches with Chase, the Bengals get draft compensation back, and re-load with Brian Thomas Jr. Tyler Boyd is also a free agent for the Bengals, so I think adding a top prospect at the position would be a smart idea.
