Both Dak Prescott and Mike McCarthy have just one more year left on their deals with the Dallas Cowboys, and this mock draft is giving them one last chance to make progress in the postseason. The Cowboys quiet offseason has been uninspiring to say the least, and it seems as if owner Jerry Jones is kind of realizing what could soon be on the horizon for his franchise.

Both Prescott and McCarthy have enjoyed a ton of regular season success, but limited playoff success might force Jones to let both men walk at the end of their respective contracts next offseason. The 2024 NFL Draft could be the last-ditch effort for Jerry Jones and his front office foiks to try and build a team that can make it past the Divisional Round.

Let's crack open a seven-round Dallas Cowboys mock draft.

24th Overall Pick - Jackson Powers-Johnson, OC, Oregon

The Dallas Cowboys actually have a good bit of needs along their offensive line, and adding the best interior offensive line prospect is Jackson Powers-Johnson from Oregon, a day one starter at center. Dak Prescott would benefit from having someone like Powers-Johnson in the middle of the offensive line, which is currently a very weak spot of the Cowboys OL.
