We are heading into Week 4 of the fast-moving 2026 NFL season, and would you ever believe it if there were a few injuries that shook teams this week? Yeah, that bug is a pesky rascal to kick out of the locker room. So, what happened this weekend?

Well, coming out of Week 3, we have updates on older injuries as well as new injuries that popped up. No one likes to talk about injuries, but they are an unfortunate beast in the game that we love to watch at this time of year. Some ailments have a more promising outlook than some of the others.

Meanwhile, some injuries are going to make players miss quite a bit of time moving forward. It is the unfortunate nature of every injury not being the exact same, even in terms of treatment from player to player. Let us dive right into some of the most impactful injuries heading into the upcoming week of the season.

Ranking the most impactful injuries heading into Week 4

10. Puka Nacua

In fairness, the injury to Los Angeles Rams superstar wide receiver Puka Nacua occurred in practice leading up to Week 2, and he was questionable leading up to the game against the New York Giants, and ultimately missed it with what is being labeled as a hip problem. While the star pass catcher for the Rams is still missing practice with the ailment, there is an update out of Los Angeles that is somewhat concerning. Nacua is not progressing in status, according to head coach Sean McVay.

The Rams reinforced that stance by downgrading the wide receiver to doubtful, rather than questionable, this week. While there is no telling when Nacua will return to the lineup for the Rams, it is good news that the pass catcher has not been placed on injured reserve for the hip injury, meaning he likely will not miss an additional two weeks of action. In the meantime, expect the Rams to feed Davante Adams and continue to run multiple tight end sets to help fill in during Nacua’s absence.
