Arizona Cardinals LB John Abraham has left the team and could be retiring from the league after suffering a concussion on Monday Night against the San Diego Chargers, per Adam Schefter. Abraham had a nice game on Monday Night also and is one of the only threats on the roster to get a pass rush on the opposing quarterbacks.

Abraham has suffered a number of concussions in his career already. If he feels that it is time to hang it up, then he should just play it safe and take the time off. He has had a great career in the league and needs to think about his life after football. It would suck for the Arizona Cardinals, but everyone would understand his reasoning for hanging up the cleats.
Abraham finished with 11.5 sacks last season and showed that he still can get after the quarterback. We will see what he does after taking this little break from the team. I think he is going to hang them up.
