Arizona Cardinals QB Drew Stanton expected to start this weekend

The Arizona Cardinals likely will face the San Francisco 49ers without QB Carson Palmer. Drew Stanton would get the start against the division rivals.

That is a bit of a break for the San Francisco 49ers. There still is no timetable on when Palmer will be able to return to the field, but the team is very comfortable with putting Stanton onto the field as the starter.
Stanton made the most of his opportunity in his first start last week and led the team to victory over the New York Giants. This game will be an even bigger test for Stanton and there will be more up for grabs in the game.
The San Francisco 49ers are coming off of a disappointing loss and will be looking to bounce back against the division rivals. Stanton may be called upon for a few games this year with Carson’s shoulder issue. Let’s see what he is able to do.
