The Falcons could bolster their pass-rush a little further with their final selection. Michael Orakpo spent his past two seasons in Texas State.
The 6’1″, 232-pounder finished his two years with 76 tackles (11 for a loss), 5.5 sacks, three defended passes and three forced fumbles.
Orakpo only played one game in 2014 due to an ACL tear he suffered in a game against Navy Midshipmen. Providing he returns to full health in 2015, he has the raw talent and can become another pass-rusher to develop in the Falcons’ defensive rebuild.
