Only the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys gained more yards on the ground than the New York Jets this past season. It marked the fifth time in the last seven seasons that the Green and White finished in the NFL’s Top 10 in rushing offense (9th in ’08, 1st in ’09, 4th in ’10, 22nd in ’11, 12th in ’12, 6th in ’13, 3rd in ‘14)…Since finishing a combined 20-12 in two seasons from 2009 and 2010 and reaching the AFC Championship Game each year, the Jets are just 26-38 the past four seasons and have failed to post a winning record, losing 10 or more games twice over that span…Talk about a drop-off? From 2009-11, the Jets scored 348, 367 and 377 points respectively, averaging just 22.8 points per contest over those three seasons. The last three years, New York has totaled 281, 290 and 283 points, respectively, which averages out to a mere 17.8 points per game…
