The Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks are about to exploit two suffering defenses on Sunday. Our NFL predictions Week 3 know which star players will finally break out in a big way. Fantasy Football fans rejoice. Dan Salem and Todd Salem debate in today’s NFL Sports Debate. Check out more of the brothers in Seesaw Sports Debate on BuzzChomp. TODD:
Is it weird that the Atlanta Falcons are going to be 3-0 after this Sunday, having beaten three NFC East teams in the process? With the Tony Romo injury befalling Dallas, Atlanta’s schedule has fallen right into place.
Not only do I see the Falcons coming out victorious, but Julio Jones is going to have another big game. Just pencil this in every week when Atlanta plays a defense without secondary stars. Even the Giants, who have very good cornerbacks (although Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie got hurt and missed most of the game), couldn’t do anything to stop Jones from catching the ball.

Dallas is going to have trouble running against a loaded box when it has the ball. It will also have trouble keeping Jones out of the end zone on defense.
My other fantasy star for the weekend is Marshawn Lynch. Seattle is not going to remain winless for long, and Lynch finally has his breakout game of the season against the Chicago Bears defense.
Through two games, Lynch is averaging just 3.5 yards per carry and has yet to reach the end zone. If the Bears defense makes even Chris Johnson look respectable running the football, imagine what will happen against a current-level Pro Bowl back.

DAN:
We are on the same page with Atlanta and Seattle, in terms of winning and fantasy studs in week 3. Where you like Julio Jones for the Falcons, I’m jumping on the Matt Ryan bandwagon. He’s averaging over 300 yards passing a week, yet has only three touchdowns to show for it. If Jones is to shine, it’s because Ryan blew the doors off things.

The Cowboys stubbed their toe one too many times, and Matt Ryan will be licking his chops in anticipation. There’s nothing like beating up on a battered football team, punching them while they’re down. Ryan has yet to truly shine from a fantasy perspective. Much like you see Marshawn Lynch officially breaking out, its Ryan’s turn to prove why he’s a top-level fantasy quarterback.
Up in Seattle there is an even bigger man itching to prove his real life and fantasy football value. Jimmy Graham has yet to do anything this season. Averaging only 5 targets a game, and having recorded only 62 yards receiving over the first two weeks of the season, Graham is about to have a monster game against Chicago.
The Bears gave up three passing touchdowns to Aaron Rodgers and the Packers in week one. They followed that up with four more touchdowns allowed through the air to Arizona in week two. Seattle will run the ball well, but its their passing game that’s about to finally show its teeth. The Seahawks didn’t add Jimmy Graham as a decoy, or to keep him on the sidelines. They signed him to score touchdowns, and score touchdowns is what’s about to happen on Sunday in Seattle.
