Houston running back Jonathan Grimes – Stud

TODD: Grimes is owned in fewer than five percent of leagues at the moment. That’s because he is sort of third or fourth on the Texans depth chart at the running back position. However, it’s evident to anyone watching the games that he is the best option Houston has right now.

Alfred Blue had been the lead back following Arian Foster‘s injury, but Blue didn’t see a single snap last week even though he was active. Chris Polk was given the start, but Grimes outperformed him in yardage and total snaps. With another swap coming at quarterback, Houston will need to lean on its running game even more this week against Indianapolis. Grimes won’t get all the touches, but he should do the most with the ones he does receive.

It helps that the Colts have given up the 8th-most rushing yards in the league, and only five teams have given up more touchdowns on the ground this season.
