3. Philip Rivers

According to Pro Football Reference, Philip Rivers has made the Pro Bowl six times in his 13-year NFL career. Heck, if that doesn’t earn him some respect around the NFL, then I don’t know what else will.

Rivers, year in and year out, puts his body on the line and does a great job for the Los Angeles Chargers as a whole. Well, he actually did that for San Diego, but you know what I mean.

The old gun-slinger is coming off of his best season in a long time, thanks to recently-hired offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt. Not to mention, he has a plethora of great offensive weapons at his disposal.

Players like Mike Williams, Travis Benjamin, Melvin Gordon, Keenan Allen, Antonio Gates and Hunter Henry will make like a lot easier for Rivers again in 2017. Even in a division full of great defensive teams, the Chargers offense should flourish.

With at least one great AFC quarterback making the Super Bowl, getting to his seventh Pro Bowl should be a guarantee for Philip Rivers this season.
