NFL Week 2: Scores and results from every game
Keeping track of all of the scores and results from every game in NFL Week 2 on Sunday, with big matchups like Cowboys-Broncos and Patriots-Saints going.
We’ve arrived in NFL Week 2, Sunday to be specific. The Thursday Night Football game truthfully didn’t tell us much that we didn’t already know. Both the Houston Texans and Cincinnati Bengals have major problems to face moving forward and likely won’t be sniffing the postseason. However, Sunday brings much more intrigue in terms of both storylines and quality.
First off, the matchup between the New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots promises to be quite a good one. These two teams both were disappointing, especially on defense, in Week 1. Now they look to rebound in what could be a shootout.
In the late afternoon slate, there are a couple of games that are quite fascinating. The New York Jets traveling to face the Oakland Raiders is intriguing because it could be a bloodbath. Expect that one to get out of hand. Much closer should be the matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos. This is an elite offense taking on an elite defense, which should be great fun.
Lastly, the Sunday Night Football matchup should be phenomenal with the Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Falcons going toe-to-toe. This is an NFC Championship Game rematch from last year and both will be motivated to get a leg up early in the 2017 season.
