New Orleans Saints: 3 Bold predictions vs. Rams in Week 12
3. The Saints attack hard on the ground
One of the biggest surprises for the Saints this year is their running game. Originally anchored by Adrian Peterson, the team has since moved on. Since then, they have become one of the best running units in the league. They’re averaging almost 150 yards a game and with the duo of Kamara and Ingram, they’ve broken out and haven’t looked back.

Their top-tier running game is matched up against the Rams run defense. Fortunately for the Saints, it’s not that good. They’ve allowed over 100 yards to opposing offenses and that’s going to be a huge factor in the Saints game plan.
In Week 12, I predict both Kamara and Ingram will attack hard on the ground. Much like previous weeks, they will both surpass 100 yards and run all over the Rams. Passing is going to be a little tougher and after an interception last week, Brees proves he still needs to work on his decision-making a little more.
As for Kamara and Ingram, they’ve become the backbone of the offense and kept them in the game when it looked bleak. Attacking the Rams on the ground will keep Brees from dealing with tough decisions, allow them to pick up some first-downs easily and hopefully, pave the way for their ninth-straight win.
