2018 NFL Power Rankings: Final four set for Championship Round

4. Philadelphia Eagles
For anyone who thought that what Nick Foles did as a starting quarterback for the St. Louis Rams, they obviously weren’t paying attention. Foles had some great moments early in his career with the Eagles, but was forced to pair with the quarterback killer himself Jeff Fisher in St. Louis.

Fisher gets credit for being a good coach, but the guy is terrible. For an example of how bad he is, Jared Goff and Case Keenum both looked fantastic once he was no longer their coach. In fact, throwing Foles into the mix gives you three starters who were made to look bad at the hands of Fisher.
Yet, while everyone lauded the other two Fisher starters with the Rams, they decided to crush Foles and predict the Eagles couldn’t win with him. All he did was complete 23-of-30 passes for 246 yards with no turnovers.
It wasn’t like he lit it up with touchdown passes, but they didn’t need that. The Eagles are so good on defense, all they need is a game manager to keep it going. It will still be an uphill climb for them to hoist the Lombardi Trophy, but it isn’t out of the realm of possibilities.
