3. Allen Hurns will get 10 targets
As we already mentioned, Allen Hurns has already started to voice his frustration about the Dallas offense. He’s not too thrilled with his lack of targets and he’s also pointed out the lack of 200-yard passing games.

There have also been other people speaking up as fellow receiver Cole Beasley says the pass catchers are getting open. With two receivers basically coming out and saying the ball needs to get into the hands of these playmakers, that means it will. Or at least they will try to get it to them a lot.
The reason you can be so sure of that is that this Dallas coaching staff is oddly aware of criticism from outside sources. If there’s a report that a broadcaster says they aren’t creative, offensive coordinator Scott Linehan will draw up something he thinks shows creativity to quiet that down.
Their reactionary way of thinking, rather than being proactive, means there’s always an issue to solve. And head coach Jason Garrett and his buddy Linehan don’t know it needs to be solved until they are made aware by this outside noise — the same stuff good teams ignore.
Case in point — with so much noise around the lack of passing yards, Linehan has decided it’s time to “start slinging it around.” Look for the play caller to look away from what they do best, which is run the ball with Ezekiel Elliott, and throw it 30-plus times, with Hurns getting at least 10 of those targets so he can address that concern as well.
