1. Arizona Cardinals: Nick Bosa, EDGE, Ohio State

The Arizona Cardinals are in desperation mode, whether they want to admit it or not. Now, for full disclosure, I 100 percent believe a rookie quarterback can play and when you take a Josh Rosen at No. 10, he should be the starter. Yes, others feel a different way, and that’s fine. We all have our opinions, and that’s what makes talking sports so fun.

Having said that, the Cardinals were more of the theory that a veteran should start and a rookie should wait. They proved that by giving a $20 million one-year contract to the world’s highest-paid journeyman, Sam Bradford, and his amazingly awkward sleeves.

Bradford wasn’t given that money to sit and watch a rookie. He was given that amount of cash to be the bridge to the rookie. However, after three games of watching him play, they realized it’s Rosen time in the desert.

Not all of their early-season woes are on Bradford though. They have been pretty bad on defense as well, and the best way to fix a poor defense is with the pass rush.

While Ed Oliver is possibly the best player, Nick Bosa isn’t that far behind. Don’t be surprised to see him make more leaps when we see him in the NFL Scouting Combine either, which makes up for the missed time he will have after a recent abdominal injury. Here, he finds himself at No. 1 as the Cardinals get a pass rusher to star opposite Chandler Jones.
