Mason Crosby, Kicker

Mason Crosby easily had his worst game in his long Green Bay Packers career last Sunday. He was 1 for 5 on field goals and missed an extra point too. Crosby’s missed field goals accounted for 13 points. If he makes those kicks, the Packers escape with the win. It makes those missed kicks even more important.

If anyone is in need of a bounce-back week, it’s the Packers franchise leader in points scored. He was ridiculed all week over social media. Many were calling for his job, but the Packers have stood by Crosby and his abilities despite the bad game.

Everyone will be watching when Crosby lines up for his first field goal attempt on Monday night. If there is anyone to cheer for on this team right now, it’s Mason Crosby. He’s been one of the leaders for this team for quite some time now.

Bad games happen to everyone. Hopefully, Crosby puts all of his doubters to bed on Monday Night. It’s a week by week league. You can struggle one week and dominate the next. Crosby needs and deserves the latter of those two options.
