This week is going to be different though. Despite the fact that every time a kicker has made at least seven field goals in a game, the team won, the Jets can’t hope to rely on Jason Myers this week and expect to win.

The Vikings have to potential to find the end zone, and the Jets will have to do the same. They will have to take advantage of opportunities when give to them, as they have shown the ability to with the ninth highest scoring offense in the NFL.

In four of the six games, the Vikings pass defense has allowed quarterbacks to pick them apart. They’ve allowed a 66.8 percent completion percentage, 10 touchdowns, and a passer rating of 103.6 this season (the sixth highest in the NFL). Darnold has a chance for a second straight big game. For the Jets to win, he’s going to have to take advantage of a vulnerable Vikings pass defense, especially in one area.
