Atlanta Falcons: Place Julio Jones on the trading block

It has been said that Julio Jones is no longer a top-five wide receiver. Meanwhile, Jones’ teammate in rookie Calvin Ridley has all the tools and potential to replace him. Jones hasn’t found the end zone since Week 12 of the 2017 season. Over the last 22 games, Jones reached the end zone just three times.

With that said, he’s been one of the most dominant receivers in football this season despite not scoring a touchdown. As a player, Jones demands attention and his skill-set is second to none. This past offseason, Jones threatened to hold out for a new contract. Whose to say he won’t do the same thing this offseason? He still holds value as a superstar wide receiver. The Falcons could deal him for tremendous value and still have weapons in the passing game.

Baltimore Ravens: AFC Champion favorites

There are two reasons why the Ravens will be Super Bowl bound. The first is their absolutely impenetrable defense. So far this season, the Ravens have surrendered the leagues best 12.8 points per game. What the Ravens are doing on defense in a league where teams average 24 points per game is undeniably impressive. In crunch time, the Ravens aren’t giving up anything, allowing just one point per game in the fourth quarter.

Shockingly though, Joe Flacco is the second reason why they’re contenders. When the Ravens drafted Lamar Jackson in the first round this year; the writing was on the wall for Flacco. That didn’t mean the Ravens brass was giving up on Flacco. Instead, they lit a fire under the 2013 Super Bowl MVP. It appears that Flacco performs when his back is against the wall.

So far this season, Flacco’s interception percentage and yards per game are at a career-best. Moreover, he’s on pace to throw for more touchdowns (24) than he has in three seasons. The Chiefs and Patriots are favorites in the AFC right now, but it’ll be the Ravens who represent the conference.
