2019 NFL Mock Draft, Week 13: Jets land Nick Bosa, Raiders score big

2. Arizona Cardinals: Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama
There’s a lot wrong with the Arizona Cardinals this season. They’re dead last in every offensive category according to NFL.com and on defense, it really isn’t a whole lot better.

It’s safe to say at this point that new head coach Steve Wilks hasn’t been working out as expected. It’s still too early to give up on him, although other teams have done so after one season with a new coach. What’s more likely is they give him another season to try and get things figured out.
If he wants to try and survive longer, he needs to correct the offensive woes. Currently Josh Rosen is starting and his work has been inconsistent, to say the least. Rosen can make some fantastic throws, but also puts the ball up for grabs far too often.
In order to get an accurate read on him as the future of the franchise, Arizona needs to surround him with talent. A wide receiver would be tempting here, but even with Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk, Rosen has struggled. With that being the case, Arizona goes for a left tackle here with Jonah Williams from Alabama.
Like the defensive line, there are some solid options on the O-line in this class — albeit not as good as the ones on the defensive side. Arizona lands the best tackle and allows Rosen more time to make his reads going forward.
