Round 1: N’Keal Harry, WR, Arizona State University

This could be a spot where the San Francisco 49ers move down some. They are in a premium spot which could make going for a wide receiver a bit of a stretch, but that could be a good thing for them. With so many holes to fill they could pick up some extra draft stock — likely from a quarterback-needy team needing to move up.

Teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars or New York Giants could be looking to make a move, which also means they wouldn’t have to fall too far. Whatever the case ends up being, they need to add some weapons for Jimmy Garoppolo and ASU wideout N’Keal Harry would be an excellent addition for them.

In a draft where receivers aren’t the most promising, Harry stands out as a special talent. He has great size at 6-4 and 215 pounds. But he’s more than just a possession receiver like his size would suggest. Harry is a big-play threat who had more than 1,000-yards in each of the past two seasons. In 2018, he had 73 receptions for 1,088 yards and nine touchdowns — with an average of just under 15 yards per catch.

What really makes him special though is his ability to move the ball after the catch. The underclassman has shiftiness like a running back and makes it hard for defenders to get a clean hold of him — leading to many missed tackles. That’s something that can really help this struggling offense improve in 2019.
