5. Amari Cooper will lead all receivers

When the Dallas Cowboys traded their first-round pick to the Oakland Raiders earlier in the regular season, they gained the services of Amari Cooper for big-time moments, and the biggest moment thus far comes this Saturday night.

More from NFL Spin Zone

Cooper is coming off a game from the Wild Card Round against the Seattle Seahawks, where he totaled seven receptions for 106 yards on nine targets. Cooper averaged 15.1 yards per reception with a longest catch of 34 yards.

Even with the Rams having cornerbacks like Marcus Peters, Sam Shields and Aqib Talib to put pressure on Cooper, this is the type of game Cooper has been waiting for his career as well, as it seems he still wants to prove that the Cowboys made the right decision in trading their first-round pick this year for him.

In his time with the Cowboys, Cooper totaled in the regular season 76 receptions for 725 yards with six touchdowns, and for the entire regular season he totaled 1,005 yards on 75 receptions with seven touchdowns.

Cooper still has much to prove to the masses in his NFL career, and Saturday night will be the largest stage he’s played on to date. Add this with the fact he and quarterback Dak Prescott seem to be playing as a more cohesive unit, and that duo can and will make for a dangerous combination for the Rams to cover in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.

The boldest prediction for Cooper on Saturday is this final stat line prediction of eight receptions for 163 yards and two touchdowns, as this is Cooper’s time to shine at a very high level.
