20. White records double-digit receptions again

Technically, James White is listed as a running back for the New England Patriots, although it’s no secret how the team uses him more as a wide receiver since this is what makes him most dangerous.

More from NFL Spin Zone

White has always been the kind of player who could take a simple quick pass from Tom Brady to turn into a huge gain, and even though he only finished with 97 receiving yards in the win over the Los Angeles Chargers, it was his reception total that stood out the most.

Watching White haul in 15 of the 17 passes thrown in his direction is almost unheard of against a talented defense like the Chargers, but this shows just what kind of game this ended up being for the Patriots.

After all the scoring that took place during the first meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs, New England will most likely see another dose of Tom Brady heavily relying on one of his favorite targets in White on offense.

Reaching 15 receptions may seem like a stretch when seeing how rare that can be in the NFL for any player, but double-digit catches shouldn’t be ruled out since White always seems to elevate his game this time of year in the postseason.
